Hawkshead Relish launches three new jams for Spring

Mark Whitehead, Co-founder of family-run food business, Hawkshead Relish has spent the winter months developing and refining a trio of new jams to be launched for Spring 2021, to sit alongside the company’s existing range of delicious conserves.

Each new product has been carefully crafted to add a touch of decadence to everyday breakfasts and home baking with vibrant, colourful, and tasty flavour combinations.  The new range is said to be perfect for a range of applications including Victoria sponges for picnics, for adding to a cocktail to give it a lift or even simply adding a generous dollop to your porridge in the morning to help set you up for the day.

The new jam flavours are priced at £2.99 and include Blackberry and Apple, Rhubarb and Ginger and Strawberry and Rhubarb. All are handmade in the English Lake District and will be available to buy online and at selected retailers across the UK from Monday 10th May.

Blackberry & Apple Jam (225g)

This rich, dark and fruity soft set jam will really brighten up your breakfast and add a lift to your puddings. Why not try stirring into your fruit crumble mixture before baking for added sweetness.

Rhubarb & Ginger Jam (220g)

Packed with delicious rhubarb and finished with a subtle hint of ginger, creating a deliciously sweet but tart jam that will leave you wanting more. Try using it as a compote with your breakfast yoghurt or simply serve over ice cream for a totally indulgent treat.

Strawberry & Rhubarb Jam (220g)

Pack with strawberries this soft unctuous jam packs a real rhubarb punch with a subtle note of redcurrant for added depth of flavour. Just the thing to enjoy with some clotted cream on a warm butter scone as part of your afternoon tea routine.

Each conserve is lovingly hand-crafted in small batches by the dedicated and passionate award-winning team at Hawkshead Relish. Made without any artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives and all are gluten free, nut-free and are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
