The North West Regional Organised Crime Unit have released a bulletin to announce the piloting of a new FREE for businesses to use in order to detect suspicious cyber activity.
The tool called Police CyberAlarm acts as an alert system by monitoring the traffic seen by an organisation’s connection over the internet. It will detect and provide regular reports of suspected malicious activity, enabling organisations to minimise their vulnerabilities and protect themselves.
Available to small businesses, charities, academia, local authorities/councils and law enforcement get up-to-date knowledge of attack types and trends which is an absolute key to having a robust defence.
