Gorvins supports local business with unique range of alcohol free drinks

Network partner, Gorvins Solicitors’ business legal services expertise has once again been instrumental in its client’s pitch to secure funding on Dragons’ Den.

Richard Clark, a drinks entrepreneur from Manchester, founder of Drynks Unlimited appeared alongside UK sales director, Paul Briscoe on Sunday night’s show, pitching its unique range of 0% alcohol free beers and ciders.

Gorvins has been working with Drynks for the last two and a half years and helped Richard and his team pull together the legal due diligence required before appearing on the show. This is the second of Gorvins’ clients from the region to successfully pitch products to the Dragons. Last year, the corporate & commercial team also supported skin care entrepreneur, Hannah Sillitoe before and after her appearance on the BBC Two hit show.

Christian Mancier, partner in the corporate & commercial team at Gorvins said: “It has been a pleasure to support Drynks from its infancy through various rounds of investment as it continues to disrupt the market with a truly premium product.

The Gorvins’ team looks forward to continuing their relationship with Richard and the Drynks team as they continue to go from strength to strength.”

Talking about his time on the show, Richard Clark, founder of Drynks Unlimited said: “It was brilliant experience and it really made me appreciate what a powerful proposition we have.

“My aim is to get more people to start rethinking drinking and I am passionate about producing 0% drinks that taste as good as their alcoholic counterparts.

“Our appearance on Dragons’ Den was really exciting and the experience was invaluable. The Dragons certainly know their stuff and it was great to go into the Den knowing I had the support of experienced professionals such as Gorvins.”

Drynks Unlimited’s Smashed range of 0% drinks uses British ingredients to create authentic tasting beer and cider. Alcohol is then gently removed from the drink to maintain the same bubbly, personality, character and flavour as the full alcohol version.

A customer since 2017, Gorvins has supported Drynks Unlimited with legal advice on a range of matters including commercial contracts, property, corporate structure work and intellectual property.
